The Phoenix Bobcats have 7 athletes that will be competing in the National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships , USATF. The meet takes place July 27th – August 1st at the Hughes Stadium in Sacramento, Ca. Many of todays Olympic stars have competed in the National Junior Olympics Track and Field Championships.

Renee Dyson – Sophomore at Pinnacle High school
5 time National Champion

I would like to mention that triplet sisters Renee, Taylor and Lizabeth Dyson all placed respectively in the same event, Javelin.

Todd Hunsacker – Junior at Norte Dame Prep

Christian Shaver – Freshman at North Canyon High school

Erwin Jones Jr. – Senior at Shadow Mountain High school
Javelin, Decathlon
Erwin Jones Jr. won the Young Mens Decathlon with 5,768 points.

Jamaal Jones – Junior at Shadow Mountain High school
Javelin, 110 Hurdles, Decathlon
