For many the term bitch is associated with strength, power and control, it can even be a term of endearment between friends. ( “You are a sexy bitch !” ) There are times in life that embracing your inner bitch can be useful, however some people abuse the power of the bitch. Your inner bitch can protect you or give you a sense of strength however it can also make you an ugly person and ruin the quality of your life. If you are a self-proclaimed bitch or if you have earned the title the old fashion way, you should ask yourself if you are a good bitch or a bad bitch.

You are loyal and protective, always protecting your friends and family like a mama bear.
You refuse to be a victim, you can take care of yourself.

I was inspired to write this post after a trip to the grocery store. As I was paying, I overheard the store employee lamenting to a coworker because a woman in the parking lot was honking at him as he was collecting the carts. He couldn’t understand why she was honking at him, when he was only doing his job. I knew he was thinking that this woman was a bitch. I wondered if this woman was proud of her ugly behavior, or if she thought she was justified.
Did she consider how she would feel if one of the carts accidentally rolled across the parking lot and hit her car? What if the next time she came to the store, she found that there were not any carts at the front of the store? She should be grateful that anyone is willing go out in the heat of an Arizona summer to round up carts. I have a feeling she knows she is a bitch, she just doesn’t know that she is a bad bitch. If you abuse people while they are at work because you can, you are a bully and a bad bitch. Shame on you!
We all have our bitch moments, but we should make a conscious effort to make the world a better place and maintain our inner beauty.

I was recently in San Diego, and I stopped by the Old Town marketplace, where I found a unique moistuizer. At first I thought that the Body Stone Candles were only candles, I was surprised to learn that they are actually a natural deep moisturizing lotion with a wick.

We are all about having sun kissed skin with out getting sun damage.
I have tried many sunless tanners, and although they have come a long way since the 80′s, many still leave a lot to be desired. I usually look for a sunless tanner that has an instant bronzer and a nice fragrance. A bronze tinted, sunless tanner will give you the satisfaction of instant color and help achieve even application. The chemicals used to create a sunless tan do have an unpleasant odor and can also make skin dry. This is why it is ideal to look for a product that has an added fragrance and a moisturizer. Tantasia is a new self tanner, by Jane Iredale and it meets all of my personal criteria. We (Stephanie & Kristy) both love this product, it works great for people with very fair skin (like Kristy) that need to build up color and those with skin that already has a nice color (like Stephanie) and would just like to add a little extra color and a get a beautiful glow.

I know that I am supposed to be the “skin guru”, but occasionally I learn something from my clients. Years ago, one of my clients went to Israel. Before she left, she promised she was going to bring me back a little gift. Yay…I love gifts! ( I am blessed with the most amazing clients.) She returned with AHAVA mineral hand cream.
