NOCA Restaurant in Phoenix is having a special event on Thursday July 29th- the next Guest Chef Dinner with James Beard Award winning Chef Robert McGrath of the newly opened Renegade Canteen, but Robert has been winning raves ever since he stepped into Phoenix. He started his career here cooking at Windows on the Green where he was nominated for the James Beard Award and …then the renowned Roaring Fork, where he won the award. He was also part of the legendary class of 1988 of Food and Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chefs” that included Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill), Daniel Boulud (Daniel), Johanne Killeen & George Germon (Al Forno), Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys), and Thomas Keller (French Laundry). Suffice to say this guy can flat out cook… we will offer a 5 course tasting menu for $55 with wine pairings available for an additional $25…the menu is attached
