I just recently visited the Parlor restaurant on 20th street and Camelback in Phoenix. It was fantastic! With talented chef Jared Porter I knew I couldn’t go wrong. Chef Jared came from some of the biggest named restaurants in town, Olive & Ivy, Asia de Cuba, LGO, Fiamma, Vincent’s, Michael’s at the Citadel, and Zinc Bistro.
I sat on their quaint patio and that was very enjoyable with the wonderful music selection. I ordered the organic beet salad which I LOVED and can’t wait to go back order again, as well as try something new! I absolutely loved the decor, it is so retro and vintage. The Parlor opened in January 2009 and is the hip place to be! The pastas on the menu are made in house by hand from scratch and the entrees are all made from local ingredients. They are also known to have the best pizzas in town. I would definitely name this restaurant one of the best places to go on a date and best place to have lunch with the girls, and now one of my favorite restaurants!
