Star Youth Sports Flag Football League helps kids develop their social and mental skills, physical strength and character while learning how to play flag football. Teamwork and active participation are key components, while teaching skills for on and off the field.

Star Youth Sports provides a safe and positive experience through learning good sportsmanship and the fundamentals of flag football.

Star Youth Sports offers 5 on 5 non-contact flag football. Program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 13, with all players participating in each game regardless of existing skill level. Competition is part of all team sports, but our highest priority is to help players build self-esteem and learn how to be a part of a team.

Games
Games are played with two 20 minute halves and a five minute half-time break in the middle.
Each team plays one game each Saturday. A season consists of a kick-off week, seven regular season games and

Friend, Sibling and Coach Requests
When you register, you will have the option to name a friend, sibling or coach that you would like to have your child placed with. We will make every effort to satisfy these requests. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request.

Coaching
All of the coaches in our league are volunteers, and most are a parent of one of the players on the team. If you enjoy working with kids in a positive environment, we encourage you to sign up as a coach or an assistant coach. We provide you with a football, coach’s T-shirt and coach’s guide that includes flag football rules.
