They’ve bestowed upon these shining stars the title of Best New Chef. This year, the dining public has a say.
In each of the ten designated regions of the country, YOU may vote for the chef whose restaurant has most significantly stirred your soul and your palate. The winner of the The People’s Best New Chef 2011 will be the subject of a profile in the July issue of Food & Wine and will no doubt hold you in tremendous gratitude and esteem until the end of time.
If that isn’t exciting enough, Chef Chris Curtiss has also been nominated for the AZ Culinary Hall of fame. He started his career here cooking at Windows on the Green where he was nominated for the James Beard Award and …then the renowned Roaring Fork, where he won the award. He was also part of the legendary class of 1988 of Food and Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chefs” that included Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill), Daniel Boulud (Daniel), Johanne Killeen & George Germon (Al Forno), Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys), and Thomas Keller (French Laundry).
