I have traded in my happy hour martini for chocolate milk and glue. Friday night happy hour now takes place at Starbucks for story time and arts and crafts. My toddler looks forward to going to Starbucks on Friday, and I have a moment to unwind while someone else entertains my son for a moment. Starbucks gives the kids a free drink to enjoy during story-time, and after a few fun stories the kids get a little craft time. They set up a table with things like markers, construction paper and glue. The kids are then given directions on how to create their art project. It is fun to see how proud my son is of his creation. I am not sure which Starbucks offer Story time, we go to the Starbucks on 7th Street and Thunderbird and Story time is at 6:30pm.

( Well, I am off to Starbucks for one last story-time until football season is over.)

Starbucks has officaly made Trenta sized drinks an option. The Trenta size will debut in Arizona this Tuesday, January 18th.

I am very familiar with Starbucks Trenta size, it has been available for a while at select locations on a trial basis. I even made it a point to know which locations offered the larger 31oz “trenta”. I am so excited to learn that the Trenta size will be a permanent thing, and now available at all locations. There are still some limitations, only iced tea, iced tea lemonade and iced coffee will be available in the Trenta size.

Lucky for me – I am all about the Iced Green Tea “unsweetened”.
