{intimacy} is the lingerie store founded by Susan Nethero also known as the ” Bra Whisperer”. If you have never been into an {intimacy} store, prepare yourself for a new kind of bra shopping experience. It is similar to shopping in a high end bridal shop. You will have a private appointment with a bra fit stylist, that will be working exclusively with you, she is your bra stylist. In addition to determining your bra size, she will also select bra’s that are appropriate for your body and lifestyle. Your bra fit stylist will assist in dressing you in your bra, and educate you on the proper way to wear your bra. (Oh-yes, there is a proper way wear your bra) Even the way you actually put it on my be wrong.

If you have a large or difficult to find bra size, you will be happy to learn that {intimacy} has over 90 sizes (A to K cup) from the best international designers. I know many women with a small band size and large cup size, that are settling for a different size because it’s all they can find. For example try finding a 32D or 32DD, most stores have little to no selection in these sizes. So most women with this challenge will just get a 34D, 34DD.

The Bra Whisperer

A womans breast size and shape will change several times during her life, changes can be from pregnancy, birth controll, exercise and changes in weight. Working with a bra fit stylist can help ensure you are wearing the right bra. Each bra fit stylist at {intimacy} is properly trained at a “Bra Fit Boot Camp” with Susan Nethero. At {intimacy}, they practice a holistic method of fitting that is focused on more than size. Your personal stylist will show you the style of bra that is best for you, teach you the propper way to wear your bra and how to eliminate back fat. They also cary over 80 sizes from A to HH cup, which is great news for those with large or difficult sizes.

Customers can find labels like: La Perla, Lise Charmel, Aubade,PrimaDonna, PrimaDonna – Twist, Chantelle, Simone Perele, Aubade, Conturelle, freya, Panache, Marie Jo, Marie Jo – L’Aventure, Fantasie, Lejaby, Fauve, Elixir and Empreinte. You will also find a nice selection of nursing and sports bras.

My Personal Bra Fit Experience

I can now say that had have had the true bra experience. No woman should miss this experience. Sorry to say, but Victoria’s Secret does not even compare to the {intimacy} experiance. This is a “real” customized bra fitting and with the highest quality of bra’s and lingerie. It was obvious that my bra specialist has been through extensive training to ensure the best service possible. I was delighted to learn they offer free custom alterations!

I feel like a new girl with this awesome bra. I really loved the bra I had recently purchased from Victoria’s Secret, it was comfortable and cute, but the problem was that it wasn’t giving enough support. In my case the band size I was wearing was too big. I had no idea how involved a true bra fitting really should be. I learned why it is important to see a bra specialist and to wear the correct bra size. For example, if you don’t wear the correct bra size, (which many of us don’t) you could be causing strain and damage to your breast tissue which can contribute to sagging of the breasts.
